About Ascolta Vocal Ensemble
Who we are
Ascolta is an eight part choral ensemble based in Dublin. We’re a group of singers who share a passion for music and love singing together.
“Ascolta” means “listen” in Italian and we chose it because, as a self-conducted group, we need to actively listen to each other to create a unified sound for the audience to enjoy.

What we do
We put on two concerts a year, one in summer and one at Christmas. Our Christmas carol concert is in aid of a different charity each year. We've supported some wonderful causes since our establishment in 2017, including CMRF, Pieta House, Rape Crisis Centre, The Together Academy and the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
